So, as a project to keep me photographing, I've decided to start on a theme. Rather than choosing a particular object as a subject, I'm going for colour, because:

- it allows for far more varied subjects for whoever is looking at the collection
- it means that potential shots can emerge anywhere, anyhow
- it has more capacity to convey more emotion or feeling

And I picked red. This was completely arbitrary. But if anyone asks, its because red has arguably the strongest cultural history in human experience, and I feel can intimate so much at so many extremes. (See [link])
